for which you will go on https://rectt.bsf.gov.in/ On which you Border Security Force is conducting an open competitive examination for recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer/Combat Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial/Combat Ministerial) and Warrant Officer (Personal Assistant) and Havildar in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Will do. As per the recruitment rules/scheme prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs, you can apply for the posts of Clerk in Assam Rifles (AR).
Educational qualification–Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination from any reputed organization or board will be eligible to participate in the instrument process.
A candidate who has not acquired the required educational qualification by the prescribed date will not be eligible and need not apply
All candidates who have been declared qualified in the Physical Standard Test (PST).
It will be necessary to submit all relevant educational certificates in original as proof of having acquired the minimum education qualification for Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Computer Based Test (CBT), Skill Test on or before 01/08/2024, On falling of which the candidate will be eligible for candidature.Such candidates will be rejected. Candidates who are able to prove by documentary evidence that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the cut-off date and have been declared passed,They will also be considered as having required educational qualification. It is reiterated that the result of the requisite educational qualification should be declared by the Board/University by the date specified. Mere processing of results by the Board/University by the crucial cut-off date does not constitute fulfillment of the Educational Qualification (EQ).
In case of candidates possessing equivalent educational qualification, such candidates will also have to produce relevant equivalence certificate from the concerned authorities at the time of document verification. However, the final decision regarding selection of such candidates will be taken by the respective appointing authorities.

Selection Process of CAPF ASI Recruitment
The examination will consist of Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Computer Base Test (CBT), Skill Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination (DME/RME). All these stages of the examination are mandatory. The examination will be conducted in three phases as follows:-
1.Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
2.Computer Base Test (CBT) c)
3.Skill Test. Document Verification and Medical Examination (DME/RME)
Skill Test [Shorthand Test for ASI (Steno/Combatant Steno) and Typing Speed Test for HC (Min/Combatant Ministerial/Havildar Clerk): – Only those candidates who qualify/shortlist in CBT will be considered for the next stage of recruitment. Will be called for. , Skill test, document verification and medical examination which will be conducted at various centers of CAPFs and Assam Rifles.
Skill Test Criteria on Dictation 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. Computer (Steno/Combatant Steno) Transcription time for ASI – 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.
Skill Test Criteria on Computer for HC (Min/Combatant Ministerial/Havildar Clerk):-
English typing on computer with minimum speed of 35 words per minute.
Hindi typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute. On Computer (35 wpm in English and 30 wpm in Hindi, corresponding to 10500 kdph in English/9000 kdph in Hindi, average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer) (Time allowed – 10 minutes)
Skill test (Typing) will be conducted on computer only. Computers and keyboards for this purpose will be provided by the recruitment centers
The manner/process/method of conducting the skill test will be decided by BSF. The skill test will be qualifying in nature and will carry no marks
Awarded for skill test.
The skill test in Hindi will be conducted in “Mangal Font” only
Every error (including spelling mistakes, omission of words/punctuation marks, repeated words, words different from the test/actual passage, words missing from the passage, mixture of words, etc.) will be counted as an error. Errors equivalent to 5% of the words in the passage actually typed by the candidate will be allowed/allowed.For each mistake in excess of 5% of the permissible limit, 10 words will be struck off/deducted from the total words typed by the candidate to assess the actual typing speed [Only for HC (Min/Combatant Ministerial/Havildar Clerk )).
Errors exceeding 5% of 800 words in 10 minutes dictation at 80 wpm will make the candidate declared failed for ‘ASI (Steno) Combat Steno’.
As mentioned above, they will be tested in skill test i.e. Stenography/Short Hand Test [only for ASI (Steno) Combatant (Steno)/Warrant Officer].
Transcription of shorthand notes should be done on computers and keyboards provided by the recruitment centers and use of other typing modes will not be allowed in any case.
The dictation will have to be noted/taken down by the candidates in shorthand strokes and will also be evaluated. Noting/taking dictation in long hand (i.e. other than standard shorthand strokes) will not be accepted and such candidates will be declared failed in the skill test even if they have written correctly in the given time.
2.Computer Base Test (CBT) c)
The number of candidates qualifying the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be limited to thirty (30) times the number of vacancies for the post of ASI (Steno/Combatant Stenocommander) and ten (10) times the number of vacancies for the post of HC. (Min/Combatant Ministerial/Havildar (Clerk).
Indicative Syllabus for Computer Base Test:
For English language only this will include error detection, fill in the blanks, finding synonyms/synonyms, antonyms, spelling/misspelling words. Idioms and Phrases, One Word Substitution, Improving Sentences, Active Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect Narration, Shuffling of Sentence Parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a Paragraph, Concluding Passages, Comprehensible Passages and Miscellaneous
Only for Hindi language, it contains 1) General information about Hindi language, 2) Hindi grammar, knowledge of Hindi, Hindi alphabet, synonyms, antonyms, multiple meanings, one word in place of phrases, similar dissimilar words, correcting incorrect sentences, gender, number, case, pronoun, adjective, did, tense. , Vyakhya, Avyaya, Prefix, Suffix, Sandhi, Samas, Viram Singh, Idioms and proverbs, Rasa, Chhanda, Alankar etc. 3) Unread, 4) Famous poets, writers and their famous works, 5) Awards in Hindi language, 6) Miscellaneous etc.
General Intelligence: This will include questions on both verbal and non-verbal type, semantic analogy, symbolic operations, symbolic/number analogy, trends, morphological analogy. Space orientation, semantic classification, Venn diagram. Symbolic/number classification, drawing conclusions, figurative classification, punched holes/patterns (folding and unfolding).Meaning Series, Shape Patterns (Folding and Completion), Number Series, Embedded Figures, Shape Series, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Emotional Intelligence, Word Formation, Social Intelligence, Coding and De-coding, other sub topics, if any numerical operations and Various intelligence tests.
Numerical Aptitude: This will include number systems, fundamental arithmetic operations, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, statistical charts and miscellaneous.
Clerical Qualification: This will include alphabetical filing, attention to detail, data checking, comparison ability, spell checking, detection of errors and other miscellaneous issues related to the qualification of clerk.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 13.2.3.1 For male candidates: Run of 1.6 kilometers in 06 minutes.
And female candidates: 800 meter race in 04 minutes 45 seconds.
Not :Chest measurement of female candidates will not be taken.
Computer based test:
The outsourced firm will conduct Computer Based Test (CBT) for all the candidates. Qualifying in Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The Computer Base Test will consist of one paper consisting of 100 objective type multiple choice questions. It has to be solved in 01 hour 40 minutes.

The question paper will be set in Hindi and English only.
The date and center of CBT will be informed to the candidates through e-admit card (can be downloaded from BSF website), SMS and email.
The marks obtained by the candidates in CBT will be normalized and such normalized marks will be used to determine the final merit and cut off marks.
Questions in CBT will be of intermediate level.
A mock test link will be available in the candidates’ corner on the BSF website to familiarize the candidates with CBT.

Candidates can go through the answer choices while submitting the objections and submit the representations, if any, through online mode only within the given time limit. Any representation regarding the answer key received through the said method within the time limit prescribed at the time of uploading the answer key will be scrutinized before finalizing the answer key.And the decision of the organization in this regard will be final. No subsequent representations regarding answer keys will be entertained.
There is no provision for revaluation/re-check of marks, no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
